About the Founder:

I'm Charlene Villanueva

I want to share the story behind URYou. As a first-generation U.S. immigrant, the struggles I faced while settling into a new country inspired me to start this journey. I know firsthand how it feels to be insignificant, helpless, and uncertain about what lies ahead. I was shy and had very low self-esteem. Those experiences became the driving force behind URYou, dedicated to guiding individuals who go through similar challenges.

The idea is simple: I want to be the support I needed when I was going through tough times. It wasn’t an easy road, and there were moments when giving up seemed like the only option. But today, I stand stronger than ever, convinced that my difficult times were a crucial part of preparing me to help others in similar situations.

Helping people and animals has always been at my very core, and it’s the very reason URYou exists. I prayed to God that He use me as His bridge to spread good out in the world, and this is why URYou is here. It would not exist today without our dear Creator and the power of the universe.

Outside of URYou, I am an Assistant Property Manager for a Class A High-Rise office building. I am a proud mother to two wonderful kids, a grumpy old husky-shepherd, a hunter cat, and some stray cats that I care for. Self-help books are my go-to, and I’m a big
advocate for innovation and self-love – always on the lookout for ways to be better and improve oneself. In my downtime, you’ll catch me reading a book, watching action movies, dancing, and belting out tunes at karaoke! One of my life goals is to establish an animal sanctuary that would help cater to neglected animals in third world countries, and create a community of supportive individuals who genuinely help each other achieve success.

Remember, each one of us has a unique and amazing self waiting to be unleashed. Sometimes, all it takes is a little nudge from a caring source to help you rediscover and embrace the remarkable you. Welcome to URYou – where your journey to self-discovery, growth and empowerment begins.
